On April 26, 2026, The Rocky Mount Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated proudly recognized outstanding local high school students for their excellence in academics, sports, art, leadership, citizenship, physical health and education, foreign language, and community service.
The Honorable Judge Tia Hudgins Taylor encouraged students to remember that they can be the “judge of their own behaviors”—making positive choices that lead to continued success in school and in life. Her message was both inspiring and empowering for our honorees and their families.
Guests were also blessed by a beautiful performance of Goodness of God by Aubrey Townsend, whose voice added a special touch to this meaningful celebration.
We are incredibly proud of these students and celebrate their hard work, character, and commitment to excellence. Keep striving, stay encouraged, and continue being amazing!
